Sofie Piepers Biography
In 2005, Sofie Piepers graduated as a veterinarian at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ghent University, Belgium and since that time she has been a member of M-teamUGent (www.m-team.UGent.be). She is passionate about mastitis and milk quality.
As a veterinarian and researcher, she loves networking, collecting new information at scientific conferences, and later turning that knowledge into practice. Sofie is since 2015 managing director of MEX™, a spin-off company of Ghent University. Driven by passion, inspired by science and strengthened by more than 20 years of experience, the team at MEX™ works to create holistic, integrated solutions for easy mastitis management through evidence-based consultancy, collaboration with more than 25 industry experts, first class training, coaching and mentoring, and mastitis data management.
